Burton Motors, a family-owned mechanics establishment, was born in a one-car garage under the Burton family home in Rochedale South in 1992. With 4 kids running around, it quickly became necessary to build a slightly larger workspace separate from the house, but that didn’t stop the kids from following along to be closer to their dad.
As the reliable, fair, and trustworthy work of Burton Motors gained popularity, a significant step was taken to purchase a piece of land on Rowland St in 1997. In the early days at Rowland St, Brad's wife, Merie, stepped into the administrative side to give Brad's single typing finger a break. Over time, this family-owned mechanics operation grew, expanding from a one-man army to a team of experienced mechanics and apprentices, along with a full-time staff member dedicated to providing trusted vehicle maintenance at the front desk.
